Last night’s Heart Paint & Sip Valentine’s class at @copperworksdistilling was a blast, painting and teaching in this gorgeous space amongst the barrels of aging spirits! ♥️🎨🥂 Everyone’s paintings were so unique and full of personality—it was amazing to see creativity flow! Plus, the cocktails from Copper Works were delicious. 🍸✨ Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun night!

thanks for being here! I think we could all use a little more Love and Art in our lives at this moment right?!

I’m the owner of Brooke Westlund Studio and Gallery, and I’ve been part of the magical Pike Place Market community since I opened in 2011. I started in the Down Under shops, moved around a bit, and landed on Western Avenue 10 years ago.

I love creating custom artwork for homes and businesses, murals, and teaching art classes, which I started about 10 years ago. Nothing makes me happier than a studio full of people painting and sharing in the joy of creating!

Life has changed over the years—I now have two little ones, Indigo (4) and River (2). The studio has evolved too. I now share the space with incredible artists: Barbie Bond (upcycled clothing + pet portraits), Rebecca Reinhart Han (oil landscapes), Rebecca Sayre (collage/encaustic, morning and evening studio), and Camille Robinson (watercolors, travel posters, and more). We’re looking for one more studio mate to join us and help keep the gallery vibrant and open on Sundays.

I’m excited for 2025, with the Overlook Walk opening this summer and new neighbors like Magpie Mouse moving in soon. I’m so thankful for my community, including Sharon from Eclipse Hat Shop, who’s been a wonderful addition to Western Avenue.

✨ Last night’s art class was nothing short of magical! 🎨✨ We spent the evening creating mixed media Seattle paintings, and the results were so fun and unique. But the real highlight? The stars aligned for *mostly* everyone to be available on a random Tuesday evening, and a group of close family friends secretly surprised one of the moms attending the class! 🎉💖

✨ Last night’s art class was nothing short of magical! 🎨✨ We spent the evening creating mixed media Seattle paintings, and the results were so fun and unique. But the real highlight? The stars aligned for *mostly* everyone to be available on a random Tuesday evening, and a group of close family friends secretly surprised one of the moms attending the class! 🎉💖
